I am pleased to announce a great dinner in my hood at one of Vancouver's funkiest and most intimate settings.
Please join me for a wine banquet at
Le Marché St. George, featuring wines from
The Artisan Collection. We will have four courses made lovingly with fresh and local ingredients, prepared by my good friend chef
Shaun Snelling. Le Marché is a great cultural hub in my Main Street Neighbourhood and little oasis of good coffee, good people and good food.

In creating
The Artisan Collection, I journeyed thousands of kilometres across the length and breadth of BC’s grape-growing regions meeting growers, tasting grapes and hand-selecting the best to be used in creating the wines. Each wine lists the origin vineyard on the label, grounding and connecting each to its terroirs. I am in the midst of blending my 2011 vintage wines and I will have some barrels sample of my new blends to preview informally as well, including a sneak preview of my new Syrah. There are always surprises, extra value and special treats at my events, so be prepared for some spontaneity!
This outstanding four course menu has been specially created for this banquet and will feature superb local ingredients, expertly and creatively prepared by Chef Shaun, who some folks may remember from our outstanding “Wine Tasting at the Carter Estate” earlier this summer.
I will be on hand for the dinner to present the wines and enjoy your company. You don’t have to wear white, but dressing up for these events is always fun.
